The day all our company left, our church stared VBS. Trint had to be at the church each night to drive the bus starting at 5 PM. I took Lilly to our Pastor's for his wife and a couple nieces to babysit her as well as several other babies. I then went to the church to help watch the kids that were dropped off early and then 6:30-8 PM was the service. I usually sat by some of the rowdy, talkative boys. After the service, Trint dropped off kids while I went and got Lilly and waited for him at the church again. Tuesday night, the tornado sirens went off and so we spent some time in the basement next to the church. On Wednesday night, it started pouring and blowing so hard while kids were being picked up, that they cancelled the service and took the kids back home. We were already tired from a week of company and so that week made us even more tired!!
The theme was "Dare to be Different" for the kids ages 3-12 (the teens had separated meetings). There were between 121 and 139 kids each night!!! (Click on the pictures to see them larger.)
