Easter Weekend

On Friday, we took Trint to the "HUGE" (ha!) local airport to go to Phoenix to play his trumpet at a church for Easter. For those who are used to the Phoenix airport and other large airports, we had to laugh and take a picture of our airport! It was about the size of a doctor's office!

The airplane was late, but Trint was able to make it to his flight to Phoenix in time.
We sat in the lobby for a little bit but when we found out the plane was going to be late, we didn't stick around to watch Trint leave.

On Saturday, we went to a baby shower and then went to my parent's for the weekend.

We had good Easter services at their church.

In the afternoon, we had a big meal with some friends and an Easter egg hunt for the boys and our friends that came over as well. All the kids loved it even though it was pretty cool outside.

When Blake got his basket full, he stopped to eat some candy rather than try to find more!

On Monday, my boys and I left my parent's about 9:15 AM to go shopping and were ready to head home when Trint called and said he had missed his flight because they left Phoenix about 45 minutes late and there wasn't another one coming in until the next day. He didn't want to sleep in the airport and so we made a 3 hour trip to get him and then a 4 1/2 hour trip back home. We got home around 10:45 PM. Needless to say, the boys were tired of being in their carseats and were ready to get home! What a long day!! Everyone was so glad to be HOME!
