Our first day of school was August 23, 2010. We had a pancake breakfast and then let the kids ride their bikes to school. We started at 8:30 with the pledges, Scripture reading and prayer. I packed special lunches for them that they ate outside on the front porch.
Christopher wasn't so excited before the day actually came, but enjoyed it when we started. Blake was really excited about starting Kindergarten and wanted to start earlier. Lilly was just as excited! She colors, draws, and likes to play games along with us. She is learning her letters.
(Christopher's bike and Lilly's tricycle came from a garage sale that they bought with their Christmas money--Thanks, Grandpa Castle!)

Looks like everyone enjoyed the first day of school. And those kids have the greatest teacher in the world -- Mom! Hugs to all of you! Mom & Grandma C
