We've used it a lot and have gotten quite a few FREE things. Some things we've got from Freecycle: Peanut, our dog; a nice crockpot; an outdoor portable basketball goal; the computer desk I'm using right now; my school desk; a stereo; computer monitors; clothes & shoes; & more.
Go to http://www.freecycle.org/, sign up (if you don't have a Yahoo account) and then join your area's freecycle group! You can have the posts sent right to your email address so that you will have a good chance at getting something before someone else does!
