Tree House!

Christopher really wanted to make a tree house, but being only 8 years old, he doesn't realize how much work it takes and doesn't have the "know how" to make one. He tried to make something by nailing together some boards to some wood crates and wanted to put it in the tree, but of course it wouldn't have fit right and wouldn't be safe. Thursday evening, Trint decided to try to help him and came up with this tree house with the scraps and boards left in our shed. It's very sturdy even though one of the posts is not long enough and we used bricks under it! We did add a wall after these pictures were taken to keep the kids from falling out. They have already had a lot of fun in it! They were playing army in it and so that's why they have their camouflage on and have their camouflage flag in the tree house that I printed for them.

Lilly also tried her hand at hammering. Reminds me of a picture of me when I was about her age "helping" my dad when he was building a garage.
