I took my kids to our town's Easter Egg Hunt. They enjoyed it & got free Easter baskets. (We had taken Wal-Mart bags to use, but got to have baskets instead!)
Christopher helped make & decorate an Easter cake & cupcakes.
Blake did his own decorating too!
We also colored some real eggs for the first time. We used 1/2 c. boiling water with 2 T. white vinegar and 1/2 t. of coloring. I found the recipe online as well as a lot of cool ways to decorate them. The boys got creative and doubled up some colors...that's why there are some purplish/brownish eggs too!
We also had "Grandma" here to help us celebrate Easter and she spoiled us with a lot of Easter candy the day after Easter when it was all 50% off!! Thanks, Grandma!! :-)
