Conner Prairie--May 15, 2010

We enjoyed going to Conner Prairie for the kids' 4th quarter school field trip. They had a reenactment of the Civil War and so lots of the stuff we saw was from that time period. It was neat and the kids enjoyed it.
Balloon rides were $15 per person and only lasted a few minutes and so we didn't ride it.

Here is Christopher hitting the baseball. You can see the pride in Christopher's face after he hit the ball! (Trint didn't realize he had the camera on video at first and so that's why you see the sky for a bit.)

These men on horses also charged at the crowd and I thought I was videoing, but wasn't. Oh, well.

These Confederate men stayed here awhile so people could ask them questions. They are a group that go around doing reenactments in several states between April and October.

I'm sure the people during the Civil War would have liked to pull around a canon this easy!

This doesn't look very comfortable to me!
